About the Role
Provide services to meet the psychosocial, emotional, and developmental needs of patients (infants to young adults) and families.
Responsibilities
- Utilize web-based programs to perform essential functions of the position, including Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Child Life or meets the educational requirements to apply for Child Life Professional Certification.
- Completion of an internship that meets the requirements for Child Life Certification by the Child Life Council.
- Experience in a healthcare and/or childcare setting.
- Training in Death, Dying, and Bereavement preferred.
- Must be certified under the specifications for Child Life Certification by the Child Life Council within two years of employment.
- Only applicants who already possess the competencies to fill the position without additional training will be considered.
Working Conditions
- Light physical demand (up to 20 lbs).
- Onsite work arrangement.
Standard bi-weekly hours: 75.00 (FTE: 1.000000). No weekend/holiday requirement. No on-call or rotation required.
Pay
Salary range: $30.91–$39.17 per hour. Wage determined based on candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Schedule
Full-time temporary position with shifts including 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.
