Seeking a Child Life Specialist for the MSICU to support patients' psychosocial and developmental needs through therapeutic activities and programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide support during procedures
• Aid siblings and families
• Facilitate coping during hospitalization
• Maintain resources
• Supervise volunteers and interns

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Child Life, or related field with child life focus
• 600-hour internship under a certified specialist
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Child Life Certification required within one year of hire

Schedule

Four 10.5-hour days, with some weekend coverage, in a collaborative team environment.
