Child Life Specialist - Full Time - North

Job Summary

Functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team in meeting the development, psychosocial and intellectual needs of pediatric patients and their families. Implements a therapeutic medical preparation program, and supervises, organizes and directs age appropriate therapeutic play experiences in order to help alleviate anxiety and provide a sense of normalcy.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum Work Experience: 1 year previous experience
• Required Licenses/Certifications: CPR-BCLS, Child Life Professional Certification - required prior to hire
• Required Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities: Child Life, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology or related fields. Ability to handle confidential information. Maintains professional appearance at all times.
