Responsibilities
- Maintains professional development and appropriate certifications.
- Maintains child life certification by attending professional development webinars, in-services, and conferences.
- Maintains a supportive environment for children and their families.
- Provides emotional support, developmental information, and play opportunities to help children cope.
- Assists in the application review and interview process for child life students.
- May assist in the application review and interview process for child life students and serve as a child life mentor.
- Maintains child life certification by attending professional development webinars, in-services, and conferences.
- May assist in the application review and interview process for child life students and serve as a child life mentor.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Child Life, Education, Recreation Therapy, or related field. Licenses and Certifications: Child Life Specialist Certification (CCLS) required. Physical Requirements: Please refer to the physical requirements document linked below.
Qualifications
Ability to work independently. Demonstrates core competence with all child life skills.
Skills
Knowledge of child development, play therapy, and psychosocial support for children and families.
