About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Child Life Assistant to assist in the provision of Child Life Services to all pediatric patients and guests.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient activity spaces
• Pick up and distribute donations
• Plan and execute patient programming and events
• Provide bedside play and engagement for patients who are unable to leave their rooms

Requirements

• High School Diploma (required)
• Associate’s degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Human Development, or a related field (preferred)
• 1 year of experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults in a health care setting or child care setting
• CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults through childcare, education, youth programming, recreation, or pediatric support roles.
