About the role
As a Behavior Technician at Elevated Kids, you play a meaningful, hands-on role in supporting young children and their families through engaging, play-based care in everyday environments. You'll work closely with children during their daily routines, helping build foundational skills through connection, consistency, and thoughtful support.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with young children using play-based, naturalistic strategies
- Get on the floor, be silly, and build joyful connections that support learning
- Implement care plans with guidance from your supervising BCBA and CQE coach
- Communicate with families and your team about progress, questions, and wins
- Receive feedback, encouragement, and support through supervision and coaching
Requirements
- Enjoy working with young children and aren't afraid to be silly, playful, and fully engaged
- Be comfortable getting on the floor, joining in play, and meeting children where they are
- Feel connected to sentiments such as "All Play is Okay" and "Connection over Compliance"
- Be reliable, consistent, and take pride in showing up prepared
- Communicate clearly and work well as part of a team
- Be open to feedback and eager to grow your skills
- Can meet the requirements to obtain or maintain RBT certification
