About the role
Responsible for providing therapeutic support to children in a residential setting. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions designed to improve the child’s social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children’s needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapeutic services to children
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Document progress and communicate with families and team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Valid California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Certificate
- Experience working with children in a therapeutic setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Passing score on a background check
