Child/General Psychiatrist (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychiatric and psychopharmacological care to patients
  • Collaborate with primary care providers to ensure that the patient is receiving quality comprehensive medical care
  • Provide consultations as requested by the medical providers
  • Establish reviews and evaluate treatment plans and goals with patients
  • Manage caseloads and documentation through electronic medical records system
  • Participate in on-call rotation after business hours
  • Participate in quality assurance activities
  • Sometimes required to work some weekends

Requirements

  • Graduated from an accredited medical school
  • Licensed to practice in New York State
  • Basic CPR (BCLS) certification required
  • Experience preferred
  • Specialty Certification preferred
  • Bilingual in English/Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) preferred

Qualifications

  • Medical school graduate
  • New York State licensed physician
  • BLS certified
  • Specialty certification desirable
  • Bilingual in English/Chinese desirable
