Child Development Specialist
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out developmental assessments
- Offer child development services using the Parent Coaching Model
- Adhere to each child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
- Collaborate with families to develop strategies for each child’s developmental goals
- Employ a family-centered parent coaching strategy to enhance caregivers' skills and ensure progress generalization
- Provide services in the child’s natural environment, including homes, daycare centers, and community settings
- Conduct periodic reassessments and prepare progress reports (bi-annual)
- Preserve confidentiality of sensitive information regarding children and families
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in child development, early childhood, teaching, or related field (Master’s degree preferred in Orange County)
- Experience in Early Intervention
- Experience with Home-Based Service Delivery
- Strong interpersonal skills

Sunny Days specializes in early intervention for children with developmental needs from birth to three years of age, offering services such as occupational, physical, and speech therapy, as well as child development support.
Qualifications
We are seeking Child Development Specialists to join our team in various locations across California. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in child development, early childhood, teaching, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred in Orange County. Prior experience in Early Intervention and Home-Based Service Delivery is preferred, along with strong interpersonal skills.
