About the role

Positive Development is a leading provider of developmental care, offering support to families in need. We are currently seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Developmental Paraprofessionals (DPPs).

Responsibilities

- Conduct interviews via video to assess candidates' suitability and skills. - Participate in clinical interviews to evaluate personality fit and cohesion with the team. - Guide candidates through case-based scenarios to test their ability to handle real-life situations. - Enroll candidates in the New Hire Training (NHT) course and provide ongoing communication about their training schedule and start date. - Match candidates with clients based on availability and criteria.

Requirements

- Availability to work live interviews via video. - Ability to communicate effectively and handle emotional challenges. - Experience working with children and understanding developmental approaches to autism care. - Interest in working with families and children.

Qualifications

- Completion of a relevant educational program. - Relevant work experience, if applicable. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for field visits).

Skills

- Strong communication skills. - Ability to handle emotional challenges and tense situations. - Understanding of developmental approaches to autism care. - Familiarity with working with children and families.
