Our interview process

  • Length of interview: 30 minutes
  • What to wear: Business casual
  • Interviewer: Member of our Recruiting Team

First round interview

  • Questions about availability, location, and logistical items
  • Discussion of skills and experience
  • Testing of handling tense situations and emotional challenges
  • Communication skills assessment
  • Discussion of interest in children and developmental approaches to autism care
  • Introduction to the job role
  • Case-based questions

Second interview

  • Additional questions about experience, skills, and interest in the job
  • Further case-based questions

Orientation and training

  • Length of interview: 20 minutes
  • What to wear: Business casual
  • Interviewer: The Recruiter who interviewed you

Onboarding

  • Enrollment in internal HRIS, Rippling
  • Account registration and required paperwork
  • NHT course discussion
  • Details about training schedule and official start date
  • Access to training materials on first day
  • Placement in training cohort within 1-2 weeks of signing offer

Matching with a client

  • Completion of training requirements
  • Filling out a form in the PD app indicating availability and criteria for a good fit
  • Two-way matching process between clients and like-minded individuals
  • Expectation to be matched to a family within 2 weeks of completing training
