Child Development Specialist

About the role

Positive Development is a leading provider of developmental care. We are expanding to serve more families and are looking for Developmental Paraprofessionals (DPPs) who can support our clients.

Responsibilities

- Work closely with clients and their families - Handle potential tense situations and emotional challenges - Communicate effectively with clients and families - Understand and apply developmental approaches to autism care - Participate in case-based discussions during interviews

Requirements

- Available to work live via video interviews - Business casual attire for interviews - Completion of the New Hire Training (NHT) course - Background checks, health tests, and fingerprinting upon acceptance of offer

Qualifications

- Good match for current clients - Experience and skills relevant to developmental care - Interest in working with children and autism care - Ability to handle real-life situations on the job
