Child Development Specialist

About the role

Positive Development is a leading provider of developmental care, offering support to families in need. We are currently seeking a Developmental Paraprofessional (DPP) to join our team.

Responsibilities

- Work closely with clients and their families to provide developmental support. - Handle potential tense situations and emotional challenges with empathy and professionalism. - Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. - Demonstrate knowledge of developmental approaches to autism care. - Participate in case-based discussions to demonstrate problem-solving skills. - Complete a series of case-based questions during interviews to assess readiness for the role.

Requirements

- Available to work flexible, part-time hours. - Proficient in using telehealth services through Amazon OneMedical. - Eligible for paid sick leave. - Willing to participate in ongoing training and clinical supervision. - Committed to advancing in your career with opportunities for advancement and paid training.
