Child Development Classroom Assistant II - Western Slope

About the role

The El Dorado County Office of Education accepts applications for Classroom Assistant II with our Child Development Program on a year-round basis, with no application deadline. This posting will be used to create an eligibility list. This list will be used for current and future openings.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and applies fundamental knowledge of child development to facilitate daily activities and experiences for children that support school readiness following federal, state and COE guidelines.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma and Associate Teacher Permit or Associate of Arts degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or related field. Must meet Title 22 licensing standards.
• Experience: Previous successful experience in Early Care and Education Programs within the last three years preferred. Bilingual/Spanish English speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• A copy of your transcript must be submitted with the application for verification of ECE units.
