Child Development / Autism Therapy Technician

About the role

Responsible for providing developmental support and therapy services to children with autism spectrum disorders. Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with families and other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to evaluate developmental progress and identify areas for intervention
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
• Provide therapeutic interventions in group and individual settings
• Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Document progress and communicate with clients and their support networks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Special Education, or related field
• Current certification in Early Intervention or similar program
• Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of developmental milestones and typical behavior patterns
• Understanding of autism spectrum disorders and effective strategies for intervention
• Proficiency in using assessment tools and technology for data collection
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
