Child Care Teacher – Stevens Point, WI

About the role

The Children’s Discovery Center – Stevens Point, WI is seeking a full-time, 37.5 hours per week, early childhood educator to start on August 10, 2026. The starting pay range is $18.98 - $20.88 per hour, contingent upon experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of children aged 6 weeks to 1-year old
• Preparation and conduct of weekly lesson plans providing a developmentally appropriate curriculum
• Ongoing assessment of children's progress
• Maintaining compliance with all related regulations

Requirements

• Two year Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education
• One year of relevant experience
• Obtain a certificate from the registry of the Wisconsin Early Childhood Professional Recognition system within 3 months of assuming the position
• Obtain and maintain a current certificate of completion for infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation w/AED (CPR) within 2 months of hire
• Certificate of completion of Abusive Head Trauma training prior to working at the center

• Must be able to pass a background check
