Full-time and part-time positions are available with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This position requires in-person work in the Palmyra, WI area.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
• Pass required state and company background checks
• Meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements
• Physical requirements: frequently lift, carry, or hold children weighing 10–40 pounds; occasionally lift, carry, or hold weight over 40 pounds; demonstrate full range of motion to lift, reach, squat, climb, sit, and fully participate in activities; respond immediately and appropriately to multiple or unexpected situations or emergencies; maintain mental and physical alertness and appropriate energy level

Qualifications

• Related college-level early education course work or CDA required
• Must meet State of WI teacher qualifications: 3 State classes (EC1/EC2/Infant-Toddler) OR AA or BA Degree in Early Childhood Education or have a CDA
• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings preferred
• CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children required

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is between $17.75 and $21.70.
