Child Care Teacher Assistant

Job Summary

The Teacher Assistant will help plan and implement a program of activities, ensuring each child's personal safety while providing enrichment, physical challenges, and learning experiences.

Requirements

• Minimum of 16 years of age
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required
• Evidence of physical examination within last 12 months
• Negative Mantoux TB test and immunity for measles, mumps, and rubella
• Ability to lift/move heavy equipment and clean when necessary
• Will sometimes work early morning, late nights, and weekends
• Strong oral communication skills required for occasional public speaking responsibilities
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift up to 75lbs on occasion and 40lbs frequently (children) and move intermittently during work hours

Qualifications

• Minimum of 16 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proven ability to identify and meet the needs of the health seeker
