We are hiring immediately at Bright Giggles 3, a NAEYC Accredited, growing family-owned early learning center in Danbury, CT. We are seeking a support teacher to join our dedicated team.

What You'll Do

• Seamlessly move between different age groups
• Support classrooms by covering breaks, sick days, and PTO
• Instruct students in activities promoting intellectual, physical, and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Available for an 8-hour shift 5 days a week
• Previous experience in childcare, teaching is a plus
• Passionate about working with children
• Able to build a rapport with children and parents
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience creating and carrying out curriculum

Nice to Haves

• Preferred: Experience in child care
• First Aid and CPR certification
