Child Care Provider

About the role

As a PRN Child Care Provider in our Pickens division, you will supervise youth in the childcare room during group sessions for a 12-week cycle.

Responsibilities

• Prepare copies and supplies for art projects as directed.
• Maintain a safe play environment.
• Dress children and change diapers.
• Instruct, observe, and monitor children's play activities.
• Sanitize toys and play equipment.
• Assist with serving meals and refreshments to children.
• May supervise children who are unable to attend school.
• May transport youth to and from school, as needed.
• Communicate with children's parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors, and related issues.

Requirements

• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1 year of group experience, as a participant and/or leader.
• Valid driver license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance coverage to meet travel requirements; may require transporting youth if needed.
• Spanish speaking required.

Pay

• $50.00 per session (inclusive of travel time & SAFY-required trainings).
• $25.00 per session (paid to 2 employees per session to assist with setup, if applicable).
