About the role
A caregiver’s primary responsibility is to provide a safe and nurturing environment every day for the children in our care while offering peace of mind to their parents.
Responsibilities
- Offer comprehensive care that meets your child's individual needs.
- Provide a comfortable space for nursing infants.
- Use creativity and imagination to stimulate learning outside a typical developmental curriculum.
- Allow children to engage in activities such as painting, drawing, building with blocks, and playing games.
- Ensure children have daily outdoor playtime.
- Monitor and report on the health status of mildly ill children to parents.
- Comfort and entertain mildly ill children as needed.
Requirements
- Equivalent Qualifications: High School Diploma Graduate or Equivalent, or any of the following equivalent qualifications:
- Associates Degree, Bachelors of Science or Arts.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a childcare setting.
- A team made up of a child development specialist and experienced childcare providers will provide the necessary care.
Skills
- Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
- Knowledge of child development and appropriate teaching methods.
- Flexibility to work on-call or flexi schedules.
