Child Care Provider

About the role

A caregiver’s primary responsibility is to provide a safe and nurturing environment every day for the children in our care while offering peace of mind to their parents.

Responsibilities

• Offer comprehensive care that meets your child's individual needs.
• Provide a comfortable space for nursing infants.
• Use creativity and imagination to stimulate learning outside a typical developmental curriculum.
• Allow children to engage in activities such as painting, drawing, building with blocks, and playing games.
• Ensure children have daily outdoor playtime.
• Monitor and report on the health status of mildly ill children to parents.
• Comfort and entertain mildly ill children as needed.

Requirements

• Equivalent Qualifications: High School Diploma Graduate or Equivalent, or any of the following equivalent qualifications:
• Associates Degree, Bachelors of Science or Arts.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a childcare setting.
• A team made up of a child development specialist and experienced childcare providers will provide the necessary care.

Skills

• Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
• Knowledge of child development and appropriate teaching methods.
• Flexibility to work on-call or flexi schedules.
