Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional early childhood education and care.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment for children.

Requirements

• High School or GED, required.
• NC Credentials or equivalency plus 6 semester hours, required.
• 1 year early childhood work experience with children up to 12 years of age, required.
• NC Credentials or equivalency defined by regulatory compliance Division of Child Development Workforce Unit, required.
• Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid within 2 months of hire, required.
• ITS SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) within 2 months of hire, required.
• NC Division of Child Development Qualifying Letter/Criminal Background Check, renewed every 5 years, required.
• BSAC if working with school age children.
• CDL license (if hired for driving buses) and working with school age children, required.
• Maintain training hours requirements as outlined by the Division of Child Development, required.
• Playground Safety, preferred.

Qualifications
