Responsibilities

• Create home-style, nutritional meal plans within the school’s menu, budget, and state/federal requirements
• Prepare meals and snacks for children and staff, and distribute food to classrooms
• Follow daily menus provided by the Director, incorporating USDA, licensing, and health department regulations
• Maintain inventory of food and supplies, and reorder as needed
• Assist in classrooms as needed in an Assistant Teacher/Floater role

Requirements

• Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for multiple individuals, preferably in a childcare facility
• Willingness to learn and adhere to all current state and local regulations
• Flexibility with work hours and schedule

Pay

$22.52–$23.39 per hour
