Child Care Center Assistant Teacher - La Petite Academy, S. Gilbert Rd

About the role

This position involves assisting teachers in providing quality care and education for children in a child care center setting. The primary responsibilities include following licensing guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized classroom, engaging children through activities and communication, and completing required training.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

Requirements

• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children preferred but not required.
• Pass a background check.

Skills

• Ability to follow directions and maintain a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.

Pay

• Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options- Assistant Teacher- $15.60-$16.21.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday work week.
