About the role

This position involves caring for children in a safe and nurturing environment while following all licensing guidelines and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

Requirements

• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children.
• Valid Washington State Child Development Permit or equivalent.

Skills

• Ability to follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized classroom.
• Ability to observe, assess, and plan for children.
• Ability to communicate effectively with families.
• Ability to complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

Pay

Compensation based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options - Assistant Teacher- $17.64-$18.33.

Schedule

Monday through Friday work week.
