Child Care Assistant Teacher - Summer Camp

About the role

Big Blue Marble Academy is seeking individuals who are passionate about teaching children to celebrate differences and appreciate diversity. The role involves managing classrooms, implementing educational curricula, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily lesson plans aligned with educational standards.
• Provide individualized attention to students to support their learning needs.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, healthy, and inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
• Assist in the development and implementation of special programs and activities.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

• A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• At least one year of relevant teaching experience.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule
