No classroom experience? That's okay — we provide paid training on all classroom procedures!

This is a full-time position with no evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines
• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years
• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom
• Decorate inside and outside of classrooms as needed
• Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment that permits children to grow and explore
• Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized
• Ability to work within regular operating hours
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment
