Child Care Assistant Teacher

Job Type: Full-Time or Part Time

Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• No evenings or weekends

BrightPath Kids provides paid training on all classroom procedures for candidates without prior classroom experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorate inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintain a warm, clean, and safe environment that encourages children to grow and explore.
• Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child‑care employment.
