Child Care Assistant Director

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Director to lead the Milton location of Little Sprouts LLC. The position is part of a supportive team guided by an experienced School Director.

Responsibilities

• Create a thriving, healthy learning environment for children and staff
• Communicate effectively through both written and verbal means to inspire teamwork, leadership, and transparency
• Manage the financial, operational, educational, and cultural aspects of the school

Requirements

• Pass required state and company background checks
• Hold Director Certification (DII qualification)
• Have 3-10 years of experience in early childhood education with 2+ years in an ECE leadership role
• Show a strong understanding of play-based learning and social-emotional development
• Commit to kindness, respect, and community engagement
• Hold a high school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Adhere to all company policies and EEC regulations
• Be able to stand, move, run, and play for most of the day
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times a day

Schedule

The Milton location operates year-round, Monday-Friday, 7:30AM - 5:30PM. Operating hours are subject to change.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $56,000 to $63,000 per year, with bonus eligibility/per year for EEC Director.
