CHILD CARE AIDE AND CHILD CARE ASSOCIATE TEACHER

Duties and Responsibilities

Incumbent will be responsible for supporting the Lee County Utilities Control and Scada Systems. Work involves troubleshooting and repair of all types of Scada equipment and their radios. Incumbent will troubleshoot, develop and support process automation systems including Scada and PLC systems within the water and wastewater industry.

Analyzes water and wastewater RTU control systems and equipment to locate malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective upgrades or corrective actions. Responsibilities will include RTU programming and HMI configuration as well as software and hardware installation.

Education, Experience, Licensing

• Graduation from high school, preferably supplemented by training in the field of water and wastewater Scada equipment.
• Three years of experience with radio telemetry systems and other common controllers and data acquisition systems.
• Possession of a valid Florida class "E" drivers' license with the ability to obtain a class "D" within sixty days of hire. An acceptable driving record is required.

Supplemental Information

• Must be proficient with controls software and have knowledge of TCP/IP and other networking protocols.

WORK HOURS/DAYS

WORK HOURS: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday, emergency on-call

Emergency Response/Recovery Activities

All County employees are required to work before, during, or after an emergency as needed. This may include temporarily being assigned to work and performing duties outside of the normal scope of their position, location and work schedule to fit the needs of the County and its citizens.
