Child Care Administrative Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all state-mandated administrative regulations for child care facilities
  • Support classroom teachers and staff with administrative and logistical needs
  • Manage and update vaccination records, allergy and medication documentation, and other student health information
  • Oversee new student enrollment and maintain accurate student records
  • Handle filing, paperwork, and day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Stay on top of all regulatory deadlines and documentation requirements
  • Greet and assist families daily

What We're Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Prior administrative experience (experience in child care or education is a plus!)
  • Familiarity with state licensing standards for child care (or willingness to learn)
  • Warm, professional communication style
