Child Autism Therapist (Entry-Level)

Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm (predictable daytime hours – no nights). Optional Saturdays are available based on patient needs.

Training & Certification

No prior experience is required. Paid training is provided, and the company fully covers the cost of the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. New hires are expected to complete the paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire.

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

• Childcare experience such as nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, or tutor.
• Mental health roles such as QMHP or behavioral health technician.
• Camp counselor, paraprofessional, caregiver, or life‑skills assistant.
• Degree in Psychology, Child Development, or any Health Sciences field.

Pay

Compensation is based on education and previous ABA experience:

• High School / Associate’s Degree: $20–$24 per hour
• Bachelor’s Degree: $20–$25.50 per hour
• Master’s Degree: $20–$28 per hour

First raise is awarded after earning the RBT certification.

Responsibilities

• Work one‑on‑one with children ages 18 months to 8 years using play‑based ABA therapy.
• Follow personalized treatment plans and collect simple session data.
• Help children learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands‑on activities.
• Stay active and engaged throughout therapy sessions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.
• Collaborate with a supportive team focused on helping kids grow and succeed.
• Occasionally support a nearby ABC clinic if additional coverage is needed.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lb.
• Comfortable sitting, standing, crouching, and getting on/off the floor frequently.
• Ability to maintain an active pace while working with young children.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire.
• Team‑oriented mindset.
