Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist - Outpatient

What You Will Do

• Carry out comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations and medical histories, to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based psychiatric evaluations and medication management for patients with various mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis, and substance use disorders.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with hospital policies and legal regulations.
• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and treatment planning sessions to review patient progress and provide recommendations for care.
• Educate and support patients and their families, promoting mental health awareness and providing resources for coping and self-management.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in psychiatric care through ongoing professional development and training.

What You Will Need

• Doctorate Medicine Required (MD or DO)
• Fellowship in Child Psychiatry
• DEA required
• Controlled substance license required
• Board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Required
