This role involves providing inpatient and emergency department (ED) psychiatric consultation and liaison services primarily for patients aged 5-18.
Responsibilities
- Manage patients in the ED, integrated care, and consultation settings
- Work collaboratively with PMHNPs, psychologists, and psychiatry fellows
- Deliver high-quality psychiatric care
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation through an online portal
Requirements
- Fellowship-trained in child and adolescent psychiatry
- Double board certification preferred
- Experience in inpatient and ED settings
- Strong communication skills and clinical expertise
- Comfortable working with diverse patient populations
