Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the Role

This outpatient psychiatric role involves providing mental health services to children and adolescents in a community setting. The clinician will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and manage medication for a pediatric patient population.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and follow-up assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Manage medication and monitor patient progress
• Collaborate with support staff for efficient clinical operations
• Documentation via electronic medical records

Requirements

• Board certification (negotiable) or eligible
• Prescriptive authority required
• Experience with child and adolescent psychiatric conditions
• Ability to utilize electronic medical records

Schedule

Work 2 days per week, totaling 16 hours. Hybrid work location, onsite in Vallejo and Vacaville.

Caseload of 6-8 patients per day. Initial evaluation duration: 1.5 hours; follow-up checks: 45 minutes. Support staff available for clinical assistance.
