About the Role
This outpatient psychiatric role involves providing mental health services to children and adolescents in a community setting. The clinician will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and manage medication for a pediatric patient population.
Responsibilities
- Perform psychiatric evaluations and follow-up assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Manage medication and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with support staff for efficient clinical operations
- Documentation via electronic medical records
Requirements
- Board certification (negotiable) or eligible
- Prescriptive authority required
- Experience with child and adolescent psychiatric conditions
- Ability to utilize electronic medical records
Schedule
Work 2 days per week, totaling 16 hours. Hybrid work location, onsite in Vallejo and Vacaville.
Caseload of 6-8 patients per day. Initial evaluation duration: 1.5 hours; follow-up checks: 45 minutes. Support staff available for clinical assistance.
