Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist - Locum Tenens

This role involves providing inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric services in a structured setting with a 7 on/7 off schedule. The clinician will cover shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on-site, managing an average census of 17 patients with a daily load of 10 to 15 cases. Responsibilities include routine follow-ups, admissions, and discharges, with a focus on inpatient psychiatric treatment for pediatric patients. Call coverage is required with a 20-minute response time; telepsychiatry is not permitted. The position requires a Wisconsin medical license or IMLC and prescriptive authority. Support staff includes APPs, Residents, and Fellows, facilitating coordinated clinical care. The role offers full-time hours (40 per week) and involves treating psychiatric conditions requiring inpatient care, with variable length of stay.
