Job Summary
Responsibilities
Strategic Human Capital Planning:
- Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to develop people strategies supporting the growth and mission of The Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc.
Talent Acquisition & Retention:
- Design and execute recruitment and retention plans to attract and retain qualified providers and staff.
Employee Engagement:
- Drive initiatives to enhance the organization's culture and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: 7-10+ years of senior HR leadership experience, particularly in healthcare or community health settings.
- Certifications: SHRM-SCP or SPHR strongly preferred.
Skills
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on driving organizational change and innovation.
- Understanding of FQHC regulations, cultural competency, and experience working in underserved communities.
Physical Demands
- Requires periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
- Significant job stress may be associated with the position.
- Evening work may be required.
