Duties And Responsibilities
- Accept delegated areas of administration.
- Responsible for efficient practices and maximize productivity in all areas as defined by the CEO.
- Provides operational oversight and creates mechanisms to monitor infrastructure, processes and standards to achieve desired outcomes as part of corporate business plan and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborates with Leadership to set goals, clearly define operations, and develop appropriate performance standards, metrics and reporting tools.
- Develops, implements and manages the operations budget ensuring effective stewardship of resources, and achievement of Strategic Operating Plan (SOP) goals and annual corporate goals.
- Sets vision and leads operational departments by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, compliance and quality requirements, objectives and policies and procedures.
- Develops and implements strategies to deliver superior Customer Service, Enrollment and Claims Administration to members and providers.
- Initiates, implements and monitors improvement activities aimed at reducing costs, increasing accuracy and efficiency and both internal and external customer satisfaction in each operational area.
- Analyze systems and procedures and recommend changes to improve workflow and efficiency.
- Prepare assigned areas for Joint Commission, DOH and HRSA Surveys.
- Responsible for Emergency Preparedness, Fire Drills and PCEPN.
- Interpret clinic policies, objectives and operational procedures to department heads.
- Resolve problems relating to utilization of facilities, equipment and supplies.
- Represent the Center at public and professional meetings and conferences as requested.
- Responsible for MIS system personnel and equipment placements.
- Maintain professional affiliations and enhance professional development to keep pace with the trends in health care administration.
- Aid the Chief Executive Officer with planning, directing and coordinating facility activities to ensure full patient care based on clinic policies.
Education/Experience Requirements
- Bachelors Degree required.
- Masters, MBA, MPH or related post-graduate degree preferred.
- Three years experience in health administration including two years experience in a clinic environment.
- 10+ years of senior management experience, with a minimum of 5 years leading one or more of the following functions: Customer Service, Claims, Enrollment, Operational Improvement, Value-Based Contracting, or Sales & Marketing.
- 10+ years of experience in a managed care/health care environment or a related government program.
- Demonstrated experience successfully planning, organizing, managing and implementing Executive level projects.

- Demonstrated abilities in: Inductive Reasoning, Data Analytics, Employee Engagement, Conflict Resolution, Marketing Management and Provider Relationships.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills.
- Solid understanding of physician practice operations including charge capture and clinical documentation;
- Outstanding listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work and communicate with providers and practice staff;
- Time management skills and attention to detail;
