Chief Officer / Head of Planning, Performance & Quality Assurance

The Role

North Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is the integrated partnership between North Lanarkshire Council (NLC) and NHS Lanarkshire (NHSL), operating through the North Lanarkshire Integration Joint Board (IJB). We are seeking an exceptional strategic leader to join our Health & Social Care Partnership as Chief Officer / Head of Planning, Performance & Quality Assurance.

This pivotal role will lead strategic planning, commissioning, performance management and quality assurance across the HSCP, ensuring high-quality, integrated services that improve outcomes for service users, carers and communities. Working closely with senior leaders, elected members and external partners, you will drive innovation, transformation and continuous improvement while shaping the future direction of health and social care services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the planning and commissioning of high quality services
• Develop and deliver comprehensive performance management information
• Drive innovation, transformation and continuous improvement
• Shape the future direction of health and social care services
• Support the strategic aim of the HSCP by ensuring high-quality services and positive integrated outcomes
• Work closely with senior leaders, elected members and external partners

Requirements

• Proven senior leader with extensive experience in strategic planning, performance improvement and partnership working within a complex public sector environment
• Strong political awareness, exceptional leadership skills and a track record of delivering impactful change, service excellence and best value

Qualifications

Applicants should have a relevant degree and substantial experience in a similar role.

Pay

£83,152 - £107,901 per annum
