About the role

Chief Officer position on a Crude Oil Tanker.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee cargo operations, including loading, discharging, and tank cleaning.

Requirements

  • Valid Chief Officer (Unlimited) CoC (STCW II/2) recognized by a flag state (e.g., Panama, Liberia, Marshall Islands).
  • Minimum 12 months of experience as Chief Officer on crude oil tankers or similar vessels.
  • Proficiency in cargo handling systems (e.g., COW, IG, inert gas systems).
  • Familiarity with tanker-specific regulations (OCIMF, SIRE, TMSA).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills for multinational crews.
  • Valid medical certificate (ENG1 or equivalent) and STCW certifications (BST, PSCRB, AFF, Medical First Aid).
