Chief of Staff to the CIO

For our client, we are seeking a Chief of Staff to the CIO to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will serve as a trusted strategic partner to the CIO, helping shape priorities, strengthen execution, and support informed decision-making across the leadership team. The position will drive cross-functional initiatives that advance enterprise and technology objectives while ensuring alignment on risks, opportunities, and next steps. It also plays a key role in executive communications, stakeholder engagement, and optimizing the operating rhythm of the CIO organization. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $156,360 – $296,880 annually Responsibilities Serve as a strategic advisor and partner to the CIO and leadership team Shape strategic priorities and enable executive decision-making with the CIO Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives that advance CIO and enterprise priorities Drive alignment and accountability across the CIO leadership team, identifying risks and opportunities Represent the CIO in meetings with internal and external stakeholders Develop executive presentations and strategic communications materials Optimize the CIO's operating rhythm and executive priorities with the administration team Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in strategy, consulting, program management, or business operations Experience supporting C-suite executives in a global organization Proven success in leading complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives Strong technology business acumen with understanding of enterprise technology strategy and financial drivers Exceptional executive communication skills, including presentations and strategic messaging Ability to influence without direct authority and build trusted relationships across organizations Benefits Comprehensive medical and dental coverage Disability and retirement benefits Paid leave and paid time off Participation in a discretionary annual bonus program based on performance Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
