Chief of Staff, Science

For our client, we are seeking a Chief of Staff, Science to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will serve as a strategic partner to the Chief Scientific Officer, helping shape priorities, operating rhythms, and decision-making across the Science organization. You will connect scientific, operational, and cross-functional workstreams to ensure leadership focus stays aligned with business goals and delivery outcomes. The position also plays a key role in translating strategy into measurable execution plans while supporting collaboration across teams in a fast-moving technology environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $160,000 – $190,000 annually Responsibilities Partner with the Chief Scientific Officer to define and prioritize annual and quarterly goals Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and success metrics Manage operations of the Science Leadership Team, including agendas and action tracking Identify and communicate cross-functional risks and decisions to leadership Develop an integrated view of service delivery performance and product support Coordinate Science Team input for commercial strategy and the product roadmap Lead change initiatives and manage the budget for the Science Team Qualifications 7+ years of experience in life sciences, healthcare, or related fields Proven strategic problem-solving and leadership skills across scientific and operational functions Advanced degree, such as an MPH, MBA, or related degree, preferred Experience in life sciences services or healthcare data consulting Strong executive communication skills for presentations and decision documents Ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations Experience leading through influence in a matrixed organization Benefits Comprehensive total rewards strategy Opportunities for professional growth in a high-performance environment Engagement in transformative health technology initiatives Collaborative work culture with cross-functional teams Access to data logistics products and services Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
