Description At Peak Support, we are passionate about delivering exceptional service to our customers and clients. As a rapidly growing services provider, we offer a wide range of services including customer support, sales operations, and business process outsourcing to high-growth companies. Our commitment to providing outstanding customer experience and supporting our clients as they grow and scale is at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for a Chief of Staff for a mission-driven health food company. The Chief of Staff sits between strategy and execution. The Founder/CEO will establish the company’s major objectives and priorities. The Chief of Staff will help translate those priorities into an operating plan and ensure that the team delivers against it. The Chief of Staff should be comfortable moving between high-level business priorities and the details required to make sure work actually gets completed. This is a highly collaborative role that requires regular communication and strong availability during the team’s working hours. Key Responsibilities Translate company objectives into clear priorities, projects, owners, deadlines, and measurable outcomesManage the operating rhythm of the company and keep teams aligned around the highest-priority objectivesTrack progress against company and departmental goals and hold team members accountable for commitmentsIdentify gaps between targets and actual performance, diagnose why objectives are off track, and develop practical solutionsSurface problems early rather than waiting until deadlines or targets are missedCoordinate work across departments, remove bottlenecks, and improve communication across in-person, hybrid, remote, and external team membersLead or facilitate regular operating and accountability meetings with clear decisions, owners, and next stepsBuild and improve processes, systems, dashboards, and workflowsHelp prioritize competing initiatives and protect the team from unnecessary workGive the Founder/CEO clear visibility into what is working, what is not, and where attention is required Team Leadership & Execution A major responsibility of this role is helping the team produce its highest sustainable level of output, not by simply pushing people to work harder, but by ensuring they understand what matters, know what is expected of them, have the resources they need, and are held accountable for results. The Chief of Staff should identify the root causes of execution issues and take practical steps to resolve them. Strong judgment and interpersonal skills are essential to know when to coach, challenge, support, clarify, or escalate. Operational Excellence Prior operational experience is critical. We are looking for someone who naturally creates structure around complexity and can take an objective and turn it into an executable plan.Goal setting and KPI trackingProject and task managementAccountability systemsProcess improvementResource allocation and prioritizationCross-functional coordinationMeeting management and follow-throughIdentifying bottlenecks and root-cause problem solvingBuilding repeatable systemsUsing data to identify performance gaps and guide decisions AI, Systems & Tools We expect the Chief of Staff to be highly comfortable with AI, automation, project-management systems, dashboards, and modern productivity tools. These tools should reduce administrative work, improve visibility, document processes, analyze information, track commitments, and help the organization operate more efficiently. Technology does not replace leadership or judgment. The Chief of Staff must be able to understand people, recognize problems, make decisions, communicate clearly, and drive execution. What Success Looks Like Success means the company gets better at turning priorities into results. The team should have greater clarity around what matters, stronger accountability, fewer missed commitments, faster identification of problems, better cross-functional communication, and more consistent execution against company objectives. The Founder/CEO should be able to spend more time on the areas where they create the greatest value because the Chief of Staff has created confidence that priorities are being translated into action throughout the organization. Most importantly, we want someone who sees a gap between where we are and where we need to be and takes ownership of helping the organization close it. Peak Support and our Work-from-Home PLUS model At Peak Support, we are dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients and an exceptional work environment for our team members. We don’t do this with ping pong tables or video games. We do it by creating a positive, encouraging and performance-driven culture that enables our team members to build rewarding, long-term careers. We’re proud that our Glassdoor rating of 4.5 is the highest in the Business Process Outsourcing industry. Peak Support offers all the convenience of working from home, with the benefits of working for an established organization with an exceptional team and tremendous opportunities for growth. Peak Support has been 100% remote since day one, so we have built a culture and a set of processes that support the success of our remote team members.
