About the role

We're looking for a Chief of Staff to work directly with Solidroad's founders and leadership team as we scale. This is a high-exposure, high-ownership role for someone who loves solving problems, driving execution, and operating at the center of a fast-growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Partner Closely with the Co-Founders
  • Act as an extension of the founders and help drive execution across the company.
  • Build deep context on priorities, coordinate key initiatives, track important workstreams, and help ensure momentum doesn't stall.
  • Own and support projects that span multiple teams and functions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve how the company operates and help implement solutions that create leverage across the organization.
  • Support hiring and talent initiatives.
  • Manage immigration and visa logistics.
  • Support onboarding, workplace operations, team programs, and company initiatives that help employees do their best work.
  • Help plan and execute company events, offsites, conferences, and other initiatives that bring the team together.

Requirements

You'll have visibility into nearly every part of the business, from hiring and people operations to company planning, internal operations, and special projects. The scope of the role is intentionally broad and will evolve alongside the company.

Qualifications

  • Experience in consulting, business operations, startup operations, Chief of Staff, venture, recruiting operations, people operations, or another highly cross-functional environment where you've learned how to drive execution and manage competing priorities.
  • Highly organized and exceptionally reliable. You can manage multiple moving pieces at once and consistently follow through.
  • Enjoy solving problems in fast-moving environments. You're comfortable navigating ambiguity and figuring things out as you go.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and biased toward action. When you see a problem, you don't wait for someone else to solve it.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excited by the opportunity to work closely with founders, learn how a company scales, and take on increasing responsibility over time.
