General Overview
The Chief of Staff serves as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the CEO, helping drive company priorities, improve organizational alignment, and accelerate execution across the business. This role works closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership team to advance strategic initiatives, facilitate decision-making, and ensure accountability for key business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the CEO, helping translate vision into clear priorities, actionable plans, and measurable outcomes.
- Drive the execution of the company’s most important strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment, accountability, and progress across the organization.
- Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to establish organizational priorities, create alignment around key objectives, and maintain accountability for results.
- Facilitate executive operating rhythms, including leadership team meetings, strategic planning sessions, business reviews, and follow-up actions to ensure organizational priorities are executed effectively.
- Facilitate effective planning and decision-making processes by ensuring leaders have the information, insights, and frameworks necessary to focus on what matters most.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives, clarifying ownership, removing obstacles, and driving timely execution across departments.
- Monitor progress against strategic goals and key performance indicators, providing regular updates, identifying risks, and recommending corrective actions when needed.
- Act as a force multiplier for the CEO by ensuring the company is focused on the right priorities, executing effectively, and achieving measurable business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Finance, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
- PREFERRED: 5–10 years of experience in strategy, operations, management consulting, project management, business transformation, or executive leadership support.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action and drive execution of high-impact initiatives across a complex organization.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong business acumen and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Travel
This position will require travel up to 50% of work time. The Chief of Staff must be able to travel as business needs require, including occasional short-notice travel.
