About the role
The Chief of Staff will partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to drive company-wide execution and strategic priorities. This role is for a high-agency generalist who thrives in greenfield environments, excels at turning ambiguity into action, and wants meaningful ownership and lasting impact.
Required
- 4-10+ years of experience driving strategy and execution in fast-moving environments (e.g., high-growth startups, top-tier consulting, investing, operations/product leadership)
- Extremely high agency: you consistently find the highest-leverage problems, take ownership end-to-end, and deliver outcomes without being asked.
- Proven exceptional ability in a few areas—especially (1) structured problem solving, (2) program management/execution, and (3) crisp written communication, (4) data analysis, modeling
- Track record of leading cross-functional initiatives with senior stakeholders and delivering measurable results on aggressive timelines
- Excellent communication skills — verbal, listening and written. We have a strong bias towards complete, thoughtful, written arguments at Carda Health. You must be clear, concise, and convincing in your communication
- Highly organized with the ability to create, adhere to, and scale repeatable processes
- You must thrive in a high ownership, fast paced, Proven ability to move fast. You should be able to complete tasks in ⅓ the time of your peers
- Strong experience at a top tier early to growth stage company. You must know what truly excellent looks and feels like
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting fundraising, board management, or strategic finance (models, pricing, unit economics, diligence)
- Experience building operating systems: OKRs, KPI dashboards, executive meeting cadences, and decision logs
- Experience working directly with founders/CEOs as a chief of staff, general manager, or in a similarly fast paced, changing role
- Experience in healthcare and comfort navigating clinical and operational stakeholders
