About the role
The Chief of Police will work 230 work days, following the Service Calendar #295. A resume and cover letter are required for this position.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, a valid and current Texas Peace Officer license issued by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE), and five years of related experience, including three years in a supervisor or command capacity. Additionally, applicants must be able to meet the district vehicle liability policy requirements, hold and maintain a current Texas driver’s license, and be bondable as required by Texas Education Code 37.081(h).

Pay
The salary range for this position is $147,664.60-$180,078.50.
