Chief Nursing Officer

Job Details

Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all nursing services and clinical operations
Oversee approximately 100 nursing staff members, including 1 Nurse Manager and 4 Nurse Supervisors
Lead and develop departments including Respiratory, Dietary, Education, Dialysis, Infection Control, and Wound Care
Drive quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and preparation for Joint Commission surveys
Build and strengthen high-performing clinical teams with a focus on collaboration and professional growth
Partner with hospital leadership to optimize patient care delivery in a rehabilitation setting
Ensure high standards of nursing practice and patient safety in a 50-bed acute rehab environment

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN required (or currently enrolled in an MSN program with clear progress)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a hospital environment
• Minimum 2 years of nursing management/leadership experience
• Proven track record of strong leadership, team building, and developing high-performing clinical teams
• Must live within reasonable driving distance to the Charlottesville, VA hospital
