Chief Medical Officer

About the role

The Client is looking for a physician executive to lead clinical strategy across our three-pillar rural and frontier care model: fixed-site clinics, mobile medical units, and telehealth. If you're an MD/DO who wants your work to actually reach the communities that need it most—tribal, frontier, and medically underserved populations across New Mexico—this is that role.

What You'll Own

• Clinical strategy, quality, and safety across all three care pillars
• Physician & APP recruitment, credentialing, and leadership
• Medicare/Medicaid compliance and payer strategy
• Clinical oversight of our chronic care management (CCM) platform
• A seat on the senior leadership team, shaping growth as we scale our mobile unit fleet

What You Bring

• MD or DO, active NM license (or license-eligible)
• Active Medicare & Medicaid credentialing in good standing
• 7+ years clinical practice, 3+ years in physician leadership
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• PCP or OBGYN background
• A genuine commitment to rural/frontier health

Compensation

$150,000–$200,000
