Chief Medical Officer
About the Role
Join a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in West Burlington, IA as a full-time Chief Medical Officer/Physician. This role offers a balanced schedule with 50% administrative time and 50% patient-facing time, seeing an average of 18-20 patients per day. Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 6 PM and Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM.
You’ll be part of a supportive provider team that includes 2 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers. The center uses Ochin Epic as its electronic health record system.
Pay
Competitive starting salary around $300,000+ based on experience, with additional quality and productivity incentives. Eligible for up to $50,000 in student loan repayment through state and federal programs.
Schedule
Full-time role, 40 hours per week, with a flexible and consistent schedule within clinic hours (M/T/W/Th: 7 AM – 6 PM; Fri: 7 AM – 5 PM).

Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of residency program.
- Board certified or board eligible in Family or Internal Medicine.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Iowa.
- 1-3 years of clinical leadership experience.
